About Joshua Goldberg

Joshua Goldberg can be described as dedicated, compassionate, and experienced. He is known as a tough advocate for his clients, for identifying issues and problems quickly, and providing quick solutions that help his clients receive compensation sooner.

Since his call to the bar in 2011, Joshua has practiced litigation, primarily in the area of personal injury, disability and insurance law. He mostly handles motor vehicle accidents, occupiers’ liability and disability insurance claims but has a small practice of general litigation files. In the course of his practice, he has appeared before the Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Ontario, the Ontario Small Claims Court, the License and Appeal Tribunal, the Social Benefits Tribunal and the Social Security Tribunal.

Joshua was born and raised in Montreal and has been living in Toronto since 2009. He went to law school at both the University of Toronto and the University of Ottawa. He also did a semester of law school at Peking University in China where he studied the Chinese legal system. Prior to that, Joshua spent several years in China, where he learned to speak Mandarin Chinese.

In his spare time, Joshua loves reading and travelling. He is also a devoted foodie and a movie buff. He is an avid dog lover and has two beloved dogs – Petunia, his 6 year old shih tzu, and Gus, his 2-year old dachshund.

Debra Henry

Legal Assistant

Debra Henry, originally from England, joined Joshua Goldberg law in 2021 as a legal assistant. Debra has worked as a legal assistant for 15 years in the area of Plaintiff personal injury and medical malpractice law. Debra works with Joshua Goldberg and Daniela Gallardo doing daily legal tasks, administrative support, including managing client files, communicating with adjusters and legal counsel, setting up medical and legal appointments, arranging examinations for discovery and all other required tasks working within a law office.

Debra is very compassionate and caring when working with clients and is dedicated to doing her absolute best supporting clients through the litigation process.

Debra is spiritual and walked the Camino De Santiago in Spain a few years ago. Debra loves reading, walking in nature and travelling. Debra recently welcomed a new puppy into her home. A French Bulldog named Zeus. Debra has been a longtime volunteer for Hospice providing support and care at End of Life to families and patients.

Stephany was called to the Ontario Bar in 2026 after earning her LL.B. from the University of Birmingham. Prior to studying law, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from York University.

Stephany articled at Joshua Goldberg Law before joining the firm as an Associate Lawyer. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive experience in personal injury law and is dedicated to helping injured individuals navigate the legal process with confidence and compassion. Her practice includes motor vehicle accident claims, including both accident benefits and tort claims, slip and fall and other occupiers’ liability matters, and long-term disability claims.

Stephany is a passionate advocate who believes that every client deserves to be heard. She takes the time to understand each client’s unique circumstances, concerns, and goals, and is committed to providing personalized and responsive legal representation. Driven by a strong belief in justice and fairness, she works tirelessly to protect her clients’ rights and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Stephany is fluent in Russian and is pleased to provide legal services to Russian-speaking clients in their preferred language.

Galyna Pashchenko
Galyna Pashchenko

Galyna was born and raised in a multicultural environment, fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian, with working knowledge of French and Polish. After completing her undergraduate studies, Galyna pursued law school, earning two Master’s degrees in law. She attended prominent universities in both Canada and Europe, deepening her expertise in personal injury law and civil litigation.

Since her call to the bar, Galyna has primarily focused her practice on personal injury, disability, and insurance law. She handles a wide range of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall, long long-term disability cases.

In addition to her legal career, Galyna is the co-founder of the Ukrainian Canadian Legal Network, providing legal resources and support to the Ukrainian community in Canada. She is also an active Board Member of the Ukrainian Youth Association, where she contributes to youth development and leadership.

Humberto is a former lawyer in this native country of Colombia, and he brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience to our firm, where he has been working for over 20 years. As a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario since 2008, and a Notary Public since 2020. Humberto services clients by providing practical legal advice orally and in writing about their claims; guiding them through their case, filing applications through the Licence Appeal Tribunal (LAT), including Motions and Applications for Reconsideration when it is needed, preparing them for Hearings, and submitting legal Submissions on their behalf.
